In 2011, Todd Baylis and Kris Hawthorne partnered to create Allied Power and Communication. Their goal was to create an easy to work with, versatile, no nonsense electrical contracting company to serve their clients. Since its inception, Allied has completed many projects from small residential renovations to large condominium and commercial developments, on time and on budget. Allied Power and Communication is the first choice for Victoria’s contractors, businesses, and homeowners.
Coming from a family of tradesmen and craftsmen, Kris always knew he’d follow that path. In 1998, after receiving a diploma as an electronics technician he decided to become an electrician, receiving his red seal in 2003. During his electrical career Kris has worked on a variety of commercial, residential, and industrial projects. Since starting Allied Power, Kris has shifted focus to estimating and project management.
The son of a building contractor, Todd grew up on construction sites. Right out of high school Todd began his electrical apprenticeship, receiving his red seal in 2001. Todd was quickly recognized as a leader and was foreman on many projects. With his experience and many valued relationships in the construction industry, Todd is a trusted resource for many of our clients.
